Friday's Letters

Dear Scale: I'm not sure why you decided to go in the direction of down this week, but I LIKE IT! Keep it up!!

Dear Nook: I plan on spending quite a bit of time with you this weekend. I'm beginning to like you a lot!

Dear Scentsy Stock: Seriously. We need to separate a bit. 89 bars in stock?!? That's cray cray! Glad the girls at work were looking for fabulous deals before Christmas, because I am the mother of fabulous deals! (when it comes to Scentsy, at least!) Do my lovely readers want a fabulous Scentsy deal? Ok, twist my arm. Email me and I will hook ya up. :0)
89 bars in 1 bag + 20 floor @ work = workout.

Dear Peanut Butter: We've been having a little bit of a love affair lately. I enjoy our time together around 2:00 - 3:00 every afternoon. Yummmmmmmmm

Dear Bedroom: I'm so excited to pursue a remodel on you in the next few weeks. New king size bed, dresser, tv, paint, fan, bedding, etc. It will be so fun and so worth the time and effort.

Dear November: In some aspects it seems like this has been the longest month ever, but then I'm like "whoa, it's almost December. Christmas is like 25 days away." That's crazy talk.

Dear Gray Hair: Please ease up. I'm 2 weeks away from my next appt. and I'm looking a little rough. Note to self: appts will have to be four weeks apart, not six.

Hope you all have a great weekend! TTFN

Friday's Letters

Dear Dog Groomer: Why does it cost so much money to shave two little dogs? $86 for two furbabies and me and my daughter's hair cost $60 (and that was giving the stylist a $15 tip)

Dear NY & CO:  Thanks for the special email coupon. I was able to get 3 new tops, a pair of earrings, and a necklace for less than $75.

Dear Danielle- Seriously??!?!? How DUMB can you be? You have been duped by Dan more times than I care to count, yet you continue to enable him to do you dirty. (Stay tuned peeps. If you don't follow the live feeds, you will see the dumbness in all its glory Sunday evening. If you watched BB14 last night, you got to see a portion of it. Tune in Sunday for more!)

Dear Body for Life for Women: I downloaded your book on my nook (love that it ryhmes) last night. Yeah I've finished it already. Granted, I need to go back and re-read a few areas so I'm sure I'm 100% on board with the facts and information I need to get this 12 week challenge underway. I'm kind of excited about this. I think it is attainable. Eat right, exercise regularly, and voila! In 12 weeks, I should feel and look better. Easy enough. Oh wait...

Dear Cookies: I allowed others, outside of my family, consume you. The verdict? Everyone loves the taste and nobody bashed the frosting! Boom! I still have a lot of practice to do, but I need to keep plugging away because I really, really want to make volleyball cookies for J's vb team at the end of the season. (which is like 2 weeks away).

Dear nice man at my office: Thank you for offering us your tickets to the OU vs. KU game on 10/20! How exciting! Although, we will be stuck in the middle of Crimson & Creme country, we are sure to have some fun. (And hopefully KU doesn't get completely slaughtered that game.)

Dear Social Calendar: My, My! Aren't you filling up quickly over the next couple of months? Fierce Five 10/4. KU Game 10/20. EYB Concert 11/4 Eric Church 12/7 I just won't know what to do with myself getting out and about doing fun, social things.

Dear Cool, Rainy weather: Where did you come from? It was like 105* a few days ago, now it's like 55*. I get the fair is in town, but really? A 50* change is a lil drastic. Although, I am loving the fact that I can lounge comfortably in my sweatpants now, so I guess that's a positive. Anyway, ease up a little bit. Let's gradually go from summer to fall and not just "Boom! In your face", like. K? Thanks.

Friday's Letters

Dear Work - I knew you couldn't do it. Even after you sent a special email first thing Monday morning, declaring that Friday wasn't an early close day, you folded. Thank you!

Dear Broker - Thank you for the chocolatey treat today! I shall gripe at you less from now on!

Dear Netflix - It's on like Donkey Kong this weekend. I'm so excited to dig into Breaking Bad and see what all of the fuss is about.

Dear DC Cupcake - I've been watching you on Netflix lately and I'm hooked. If you know me, you know that I would DIE to have a cupcake shop. Of course, I have to be good at making cupcakes and have money to pursue that dream, but you know details schmetails. However, in the meantime I have stalked your website and see that you deliver in the lower 48. Even though it costs $29 for a dozen of your visually delicious cupcakes and nearly that same amount for shipping, I'm willing to pony up the dough. Call me cray cray, but if you are good enough to be on TV, you are good enough to be in my stomach no matter the cost.

Dear furbabies - You know mama gets these crazy ideas to invite more furbabies to live with us. (Some that actually have furrish like skin: pigs. And some that don't: turtles.) Bear with me in my moments of weakness. Although, it seems like a good idea for about 5 seconds, reality sets in and I realize it is not so much. Besides, after seeing this pathetic look when we talked about Glitzy moving in, how can I proceed with that process? (This is a bad example, but the one I took of him with flash won't upload.....grrrrr!)

Dear 3-Day weekend - Booyah!

Friday's Letters

OH EM GEE! How ridiculously pathetic am I? I haven't been on my blog at all this week. This is sad for two reasons. 1) I'm not keeping up with the agenda already 2) I have missed out on some uber good reads this week, I'm sure.

Well.....guess what?!?! I'm here now and my weekend is pretty clear, so I plan on catching up and sending some love to my favorite bloggers.

Without further ado, let's get on to Friday's Letters!

Dear Weekend - It's always a pleasure to see you! This has been a long week, so your appearance is GREATLY appreciated.

Dear Kids - School starts next weekend. A Freshman and a 7th grader. Wow! You guys are growing up so fast.

Dear Hubs - We made it! 15 years without killing each other of wedded bliss. Many more years to come! Oh and Thanks again for the Nook. Maybe I shall repay you with nookie?

Dear Chaz Dean - I'm excited to get my introductory kit in the mail tomorrow! I love, love, love  your products and can't wait to have them auto shipped to my house on a regular basis!

Dear Healthy Habits - Due to the recent illness in my left ear, I have refrained from regular exercise and regular healthy eating (like not at all). With all of that being said, I have made it clear that the entire family will be partaking in clean eating habits starting this next week. Although Tyler thinks he has reached H*LL by having to do this, I keep assuring him he will be A-OK.

Dear Swimmer's Ear - Good Riddance! That is all.

Dear Friday Afternoon Traffic - Ease the H*LL up already! You know I have Flinstone Feet straight up 4:00. Please don't delay my weekend due to ridiculous drivers.

Dear Weather - Thanks for the rain earlier this weekend and the cool down in temps. I like you again.

Dear Readers - Much love.

Dear Swimmer's Ear - I would rather be hungover then deal with you. Lesson learned. No swimming for extended periods of time while getting intoxicated. Apparently it leads to ear infections....boo!

I look about as good as I feel.

Dear Summer weather - you know I love you. I really do, but this 113* Shiz has got to go. I mean, like now. Seriously. It's one thing to be hot and bothered, but it's a completely different story when you are hot. And bothered.

Dear Brainiacs- Quit throwing ignited crap out the window. Our state is on fire, literally. Have some respect.

Dear Mama - Happy Birthday! Glad we can help you celebrate #57!

Dear Sleep -  I need you, oh so badly. I think I'm starting to scare people. Like my husband and kids. Sometimes, I even scare myself. Let's just meet up tonight and see how it goes. If all goes well, we can do it again tomorrow. I miss you, but I'm cool with taking things slow. One day at a time, my friend.

Dear Blog Friends - Much Love, Ladies. Much Love.

Heavy Hearts

Today is typically the day we celebrate Friday with a great link up of Friday's Letters. Unfortunately I will not be celebrating "Friday's Letters" today, I only have one letter to write and that is to Our Heavenly Father.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Please watch over the innocent victims of this terrible tragedy in America. Please be with their loved ones as they grieve the loss of those who passed and please heal the wounded. Please give them peace and strength to heal quickly.

We ask that you unite America, again, during this devastating situation. The residents of Colorado need our unity, so they can pick up the pieces and recover from this horrific tragedy.

I ask this in your name....AMEN

America is struck by tragedy, again. Tonight I write with a heavy heart after seeing/hearing news feed about the horrific shooting in Aurora, Colorado.

I'm sad, angry, and feel completely helpless.

The individuals impacted by this devastating situation had no idea that going to a movie would end up so deadly. I just can't fathom their fear as they heard the gunshots firing over and over again.

I truly hate that we have such violence in our world. I truly hate that there are people in this world that think blowing up a lot of people is okay. It's not okay. We have men and women over seas fighting for our country, fighting for our freedom and we are turning our backs on each other? Killing fellow Americans?!?! I don't get it. I don't get how this happens.

Please say a prayer for the victims, their families, and the emergency response crews that are working countless hours to remedy this situation.

Dear Work: You seriously sucked this week. And thanks to the powers that be that took our working from home rights away. Sorry for caring about our workload!

Dear Attitude: I love you when you come out all snarky-like, but apparently the "supervisor" doesn't. Let's try to keep it on the D.L. because you may have pushed some buttons today. (Good girl!)

Dear Color Me Rad Race: Finally you are close enough to cause excitement! I'm so anxious to be showered with colors, while laughing and running!

Dear Boot Camp: You are a new little thing to our town and you are offering a warm welcome. Maybe - just maybe I shall try you out.

Dear Tyler - I hope you don't forget who your parents are. Life without you is becoming more and more normal. I don't think I like that.

Dear Pool: Sorry I neglected you this week, because now it looks like I could have enjoyed you this weekend.

Dear Work  - For the first time in a long time, I brought you home with me on the weekend. You're welcome. You better be nicer to me next week, or else. 3 new clients in one week is entirely absurd and completely unreasonable. Job Security? Yes. Insanity? Double Yes. (Guess you have to take the good with the bad, right?)

Dear Husband - I'm super bummed that not only do you have to leave for Texas on Sunday, but you have to go to training all day on Saturday in Tulsa. I know you can't help it, but it still sucks. I plan on using my time wisely and being super productive around the house.

Dear Unfinished Projects - I am going to own you this weekend! Boom! Coupons, Recipe books, filing, laundry, etc. etc.

Dear Son - I miss you. I know you are having a great time in Kansas with the family and enjoying camping with Gpa and Gma H. this weekend, but I miss my baby boy.

Dear Facebook "Online Garage Sale Site" - You are completely high maintenance, but I love you. I worked my arse off selling some of Little Miss Jayden's stuff. She appreciates the $80 I made her in two days, so she can buy herself a new pair of Miss Me Jeans, but you are completely exhausting. What do I get out of this?!?!
(Readers: Go to Facebook right now and search for an online garage sale page for your community. It is the BEST THING EVER! (okay, maybe not the best thing ever, but you get my point.) I am selling items left and right. People buy the craziest stuff...it's almost comical to watch. The thing I love the most is you can charge above normal garage sale prices and PEOPLE PAY IT!!!)

Dear Running- I'm bbbbbaaaaaaaacccccckkkkkkkk! The 5k "for fun" run I did on 4th of July was pretty amazing! I did pretty well since I haven't ran in awhile. Maybe I will just enjoy a run tomorrow morning. And Sunday. And maybe Monday. It's therapy and I need all of the therapy I can get right now.

Dear Big Brother- OMG! Only a few more days until your premiere. I am so.stinking.excited. Although, you demand so much time and attention by being on 3 days a week, you are well worth it.

Dear RHOC- the big reunion will be here on Tuesday. I am so ready to see Alexis and Vicki get a beat down by Heather, Gretchen, and Tamara!!!!

Dear Followers: You are all precious! Thank you for following me. Thank you for your comments. If I don't currently follow you, I promise I will be soon! xoxoxo.

Have a fantabulous weekend, my lovely readers!

Dear Vacation: You are almost over and I am terribly sad about that!

Dear  Lauren:  I'm still trying to wrap my brain around you not being at work when I get back. I know I will adjust, but it is going to be so weird.

Dear Summer: I love nice, hot ones, but let's keep it in check. My flowers were looking really good before we left.

Dear Parents: We have had a wonderful time here this week. Thanks for joining us.

Dear Work: I am not even close to being ready to see you again on Monday.

Happy Friday, Friends! Enjoy your weekend!!

Dear Friday: As always, it's a pleasure seeing you again. Dear Lauren: I will miss you, but I know you are ready to see what the next chapter in your life brings! I wish you could stay in OKC, but Dallas isn't that far away. We will visit! Dear Jayden: Thanks for making me laugh. Your bluntness really catches me off guard sometimes (a lot). P.S. I'm documenting here, on my blog, that I did my hair today. :0) Dear Thunder: Welcome Home, Boys! I wish I could have been at the welcome home party, instead I was hammering out reports for this craptastic client that I loathe so much. Dear Laundry Mat: We shall meet again this evening thanks to our washer going kaput. Dear Condo at Table Rock Lake: 24 hours baby and we will be meeting you! (So. Stinking. Excited.) Dear kids:  You better be on your VERY BEST BEHAVIOR during the car trip ("DON'T MAKE US PULL THIS CAR OVER!") You shall also remain on said best behavior the remainder of the week or there shall be h#ll to pay! Dear Lucky: Did you really have to shart on our bed last night? Seriously. No washer = big (stinky) problems, Mister! Dear Puppies: I will miss your sweet wittle faces this week. Dear T-Mobile: Time is up - I will be chatting with you soon, biatches.  Better be ready!

Friday's Letters

Linking up with Ashley at Adventures of Newlyweds for Friday's Letters

Dear Weekend: I am so glad you are here, so I can catch up on my rest. Thundering Up this week has been hard on this ole gal.

This was pretty appropriate to play since it's what I am needing today!
Dear Kids: Welcome Home!

Dear Thunder: You have to change your ways or you won't be in the finals long. Please stop waiting until the 4th quarter to try to win. You have to want to win the second the game starts.

Dear Scott: I'm sorry I am kicking your a$$ in Words With Friends this week. I'm sure my lucky streak will end soon.

Dear 50 Shades: One down. Two to go.

Dear Vacation: Wow! Only a week left until we meet. Seems like just yesterday I was counting down and was on day 42. Hopefully the time on vacation won't go as fast as the countdown did.

Dear Pool: I'm hoping to enjoy you as much as I did last weekend. I know when the kids are home, things get a little wild and crazy, but I'm willing to make that sacrifice for you.

Dear Nails: You look horrid. Let's see about getting you fixed up a little this weekend, eh?

Dear Reebok: Thanks for having a great sale at the Outlet Shoppes! I got a brand new pair of running kicks and I am kind of looking forward to taking you for a test run this weekend.

Dear Scale: Thanks for not hating me and giving me decent readings this week considering I have made little effort to eat well. I promise I will get on the right track.

Dear Bloggy Friends: Thanks for following!

Friday's Letters...

Today I am linking up with Ashley for some Friday Letters.

Dear Treadmill/Shaun T: I know I keep promising that I am coming back soon, but I really am. Just not today...and maybe not tomorrow, either.

Dear pool: I'm so glad you are better. Now if you could just please warm up a bit, you will be perfect.

Dear Floatie: Once I find you, oh perfect one, you and I are going to spend some quality time together this weekend. Fun in the sun, I'm tellin' ya!

Dear Hunger Games: I am so finishing you this weekend!

Dear 50 Shades: You're Next!!

Dear Table Rock Lake: We are 2 weeks away from spending a week with you. I am ready. Are you?

Dear OKC Thunder: Thank you for winning the Western Conference. You are making all of OKC proud!

Dear Readers/Followers: Thank you for the love and taking the time to read my blog. I'm not the most exciting blogger out there, but I'm enjoying sharing our life with you.

Dear Kids: Enjoy your summer. You are young, wild, and free. If you want to spend the next 2 weeks in Kansas, your dad and I will be fine. I promise. :0)

Dear Hubby: Thanks for a great week! Bring on the weekend!
